Hey up everyone..

I have a problem and I need some advice.. my trailer is having some work done and it may not be ready for me to go to camp in next week. I have a lovely friend who has a nice trailer but its not braked which worries me slightly because my boy is 17hh and this could be a lot of weight pushing into my car..? My car is a big 2.5litre doscovery so pretty sturdy. What do you think?

Alternatively - I could hire a nice one for the three days.. does anyone know a trailer hire place in Chobham area?? They are quite expensive though..??
Would anyone rent a trailer for three days.. needs to be a big one as miune is a 17hh warmblood..

Any ideas much appreciated!

Even forgetting the fact that its TOTAL MADNESS, its also illegal to have a trailer that size un-braked. I suggest you point this out to your friend. Unless you have a strong disire to kill yourself, your horse and any other unsuspecting road users hire a decent and SAFE trailer!

Maybe she has it wrong then? Its a rice beaufort and she thinks its not braked.
I'll check this out. I am yet to seen it its been made as an offer.

No need to be short - seeing as i'm asking advice on matter!!

I think even if it is braked, then if she doesn't know it's braked then it won't have been serviced or maintained and there is no way i would put my horse in it. I would hire one.

thanks for the comments. I am not going to put my horse into something that appears unsafe!!!

I went to have a look at it and decided against it. I have my ifor back so its fine.
