its an ifor 505 and all like new so i cant understand how this happened.... she is however a bad traveller as she was always used with travelling in a lorry with previous owner. The partition is hooked on to the centre pole and has a wee swing thing to stop them from coming up and over the hooks im really confused, we ended up tying the swinging stops and seems to have resovled the problem! did anyone else have this problem?

can happen, some seem to get rather good at getting their weight under them and lifting I saw a welsh cob do it in 100yds. not sure if that one had stops though. I think that the stops cant really resist weight of horse jiggling! so tying them seems like a good idea or try her without partition if still unhappy?

This happened with my then new trailer when I leant it to a friend. She hadnt fastenned the back breach bars. Please dont think Im suggesting that you did the same, Im just saying that although they are humanly very difficult to get off, a horse seems to easily do it.

Mine does this when I have the swinging partition in. Somehow the screw that holds it together comes undone, no idea how. I used to just make sure it was really tight before every journey, and cover it in electrical tape to keep together.

If you are only travelling one, why not get a full length bar and travel without partitions?

One of my mares does this. I put a clip on now which seems to help, but have ordered full length breast bars so she will be having them next time she is travelled.

all the breach bars were clipped in place which is why i found it so amazing it came off! its so hard to get the god dam things in place too lol so i wondered how she managed to get it off!

yea i think i mite need to order a full lengh bar for future when shes on her own!

i thought maybe that the partition would help keep her steady do you think this is true or would she be better having the full box to spread her feet more?
