TRAILER, TACK, RUGS, CLIPPERS ETC STOLEN NORTH YORKSHIRE!!!!

This is my first original post and i can't believe it's on this subject!!
Please beware thieves are active in the North Yorkshire area, PM me for more details.
Yard broken into last night, we have cctv and padlocked gates.....these were taken off the hinges!!
Trailer gone (which was hitch and wheel locked), 17 saddles taken, rugs and stable equipment.......big job.
They'd been in where the horses are, not taken any which is a relief but still sits uneasily.
You never think it will happen to you...i actually can't beieve it has....devestated.
Police are investigating.

Thankyou, not so hopeful we'll ever see any of it again.
They'd even stolen feed......who the hell does that!!!

Horses seemed fine, still eager for breakfast this morning!

I'm really really sorry this happened to you, it is truely sickening. Thank god your horses weren't taken or harmed. I hope the police find the scum

Sorry for your loss--you had tried your best to be secure
If they have stolen feed it is likely they have ''back yard'' horses if you know what I mean

Have to say at the recent Dumfries Horse Sale there were more saddles than usual, lots of local folk I know had a clear out so lots of genuine sales but unless they are marked--how can I or anyone tell if saddles are stolen.

A few of the saddles were marked (our local saddlery had a free tack marking day at the weekend) the police were due to do a yard visit later this week to mark the rest of them.....typical
