Trailer tents

No, would be seperate. I didn't think you could tow anything behind trailer?

It would be towed direct behind car. Also looking at rooftop tents as very handy when was camping abroad but wondering if could possibly be attached to trailer instead of jeep.

not behind a horse trailer but you can behind a horsebox - some tow caravans behind horseboxes

Unfortunately I don't have my LGV plus the fact that unfortunately I cant afford a Lorry :p especially the trailer-lorries - would cost an absolute fortune on diesel! would love one though :D

Just wondering how practical a tt would be, & information really :)

On a B licence you could drive a 3.5 tonne horsebox and tow a 750 kg trailer tent or caravan

Trailer tents are great, but they can take a while to put up (ours was huge, and it took 3 hours). The one you showed in the pic seems nicely compact, though, and would be much more comfortable than a tent. They can have kitchen units which fit on the back when travelling, which is very handy. They are light enough not to need to be braked.

I did not know there was such a thing as a roof tent for 4x4s! I have been educated! :)

My plan is to give up on the tent with the mouse-eaten hole, and set up a camp bed inside the trailer.
