Trailer test?

Helloo, just wondered if anyone had done their trailer test recently and had any idea on cost including training, where they did it etc.

Any info greatly appreciated, Thank you xx
 
All the content of the test is outlined on this website. It was £89 when i did it but it's gone up since then.

Also worth nothing that there are only some centres that do the trailer test. I had to travel 2 hours to do mine (but then i do live in the middle of nowhere!)
 
Thanks thats great i live in hampshire though so will hopefully find something a bit closer! Did you have a lot of lessons first?
 
Sorry to hijack, T&T, but Law, did you use Trailer Training Wales? They are one of the ones I'm thinking of using and would love to know if they're any good?
 
I did one of the intensive courses, was definately worth it. I think the whole thing including the test was around £420. (I think the test was around £120 on its own, and I got 10 hours training, including test time, for £300)

I would say shop around for the training though, I had quotes of nearly £1,000 for 8 hours training and the test!

Very good training, patient and got me through it. I wouldn't have passed without them (well infact I failed before I took instruction from them)!

Very nice people to boot!- they let me stay over to minimise my travelling as it was 2 hours away and I needed to do a couple of days with them

Also well priced too I would say and their Mitsubish L200 is lovely or you can use their Discovery
