hi all am thinking of taking my tailer test and was wondering if any one had experience of doing one
Hi, I have done it (and passed)
If you already have your own 4x4 and trailers, practice with someone who can legally site in the front with you (someone who passed their driving test pre 1997.) or someone who has passed their test also. Then pay for a few lessons to make sure you can pass the test.
If you don't have your own trailer etc, you will have to hire it out and will probably have to do a few days to a weeks instensive course (this I found much more expensive) so it depends what you already have.
The trailer test is effectively a driving test, so by that I mean, Mirror, Signal and Manoeuvre all of the type of driving you needed to pass the test. So 80% drivig 20% test (so you cannot be a sloppy driver)
Otherwise practice reversing. Very easy once you have cracked it.. Goodluckc.x
