Trailer towing test/ tuition

Hi
Does any one know of any test centres or instructors on the Essex/ London borders? I have looked and the nearest I can find is Colchester which about 40 miles from me!
Also for those who have been brave enough to take the test, what exactly is the reverse manovere (sp) do you have to reverse round a corner or get it into a parking bay?

Try BSM or the AA. I had to go about 30 miles for a test centre and lessons.

The reverse manouvere: you are parked several metres to the right and in front of a bay. You will need to reverse the trailer into the bay, without hitting a line of cones down the middle or going outside the bay. Basically they want you to move it back and sideways gently to get it in a parking space to the left and behind you. It's bloody hard work. Practise that more than anything!
