I'm looking for somewhere/someone that can offer good value trailer test training fairly close to Newmarket/Bury St Edmunds. I'm quite keen to do 2 full days training plus a test, but I am also thinking if I can split this over several weeks I then have time to do some practice in between training sessions.

Any recommendations??

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you can only take your trailer test in norwich, ipswich, peterborough or milton keynes so if you want to train on the actual test routes you will have to travel:(

I did mine a few years ago in peterborough but friend has just done hers in norqich. Could find who with if you want me to?

I'm not too worried about test routes TBH as not too concerned about the driving around part (did my motorbike test a couple of years ago, so don't feel too driving test rusty) its more the reversing parts that are a worry!

I've booked a 4hr training session at a place in Kentford (less than 5 mins from work) so that I can at least start getting some practice in. I have trailers and 4x4s at work that I can practice a little bit with, so long as I have learnt the correct things to practice!!

If you could find out who your friend used that would be great though - I figure for the test day itself I may get better value for money by getting a few hours instruction with a local firm before taking the test itself perhaps.
