I currently have use of a Ifor 505. My GG is 16'2and to me seems a little squished in it even on his own. Me thinks he would be more confortable without the centre partition and Was wondering what people's comments/thoughts on him travelling without the partition in the middle. My only concern is that there would be no breech bars in this equation. I am having a mare trying to find a full width breech bar for the 505 at the moment. Many thanks for your thoughts.

I travel without partitions the majority of the time, no problem. Full length breech bars are usually easily available, often on ebay.

No problem at all travelling without the partition but you do need a full width breech bar, I got mine from my local IWT dealer but I'm sure I've seen them on Ebay to.

You don't "need" a breech bar unless you plan to stop...

Think what would happen if you had to stop suddenly and the animal is forward facing, its going to go splat as it won't be able to save itself.

I have looked on eBay, but the only one advertised at mo is for 510 and my local Ifor dealer won't have them in for about 10 days! I ideally wanted one by the weekend. My boy will just have to stay as he is at the mo. he travels fine in the right, but I just think he would be more comfortable with a bit more space.
