Hi all,

I have a wessex clubman double trailer and I'm going to pop it up to the garage just to check all the tyre pressures as its been stood for a few weeks with all the snow etc.

Looking on the side of the tyres it says 65psi? does this sound right to you? I for one know ive never pumped up a tyre to that sort of pressure before!

This is correct as one needs tyres specific for a trailer to carry the extra weight and depending on the tyre they require a pressure of 60 - 80 p.s.i.
Never fit car tyres to a trailer as they are not suitable and could cause a serious accident.
If the trailer has not been used for a while it will be worthwhile to check the condition of the floor, ramp, braking system, bearings and hitch.
