Well using the towing under 3500kg guidance with my b licence I can tow my ifor williams 403 with a freelander and a pony in. Great! only thing I need to find out is do I need to get the plate on my trailer changed to reflect the weight it will be carrying rather than mam or if I were stopped would it be done on the actual vehicle/trailer combination weight.
Simples either way as can get a new plate off ifor williams for around £10
juts wanted to clarify this so rang vosa- who said they werent the people to speak to I should ask the police, so rang the police (north wales) who said I should peak to dvla as they make the rules. So rang dvla girl said she thought I could only tow a trailer if under 750 kg
eek
but I should ring department of transport for confirmation but there was no way I could tow a horse trailer of any size. Finally spoke to department of transport and girl ranted about fact that its a dvla issue and she took my number to get someone from dvla to ring me back!!!

so how are we the general public supposed to know anything? if each organisation says different things but equally that its nothing to do with them
argggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh rant over sorry guys!
