Possibly might need to sell my Bateson as new boys ears are brushing the ceiling - he is bang on 17 hands. Shame as plenty of room in the trailer otherwise

So discount the equi trek due to the weight (jeep has a max towing capacity of 3.3 tonnes so equi trek takes me too close for comfort), I am looking at the 510's but are there any other options? or do you think its OK for new boys ears (tips) to touch the top. He has been in the trailer twice now and been absolutely fine, including the blooming long trip up the motorway when I collected him! Came off calm and happy both times.

I have just bought a Wessex Olympian for my horse. I believe it is the same height as the Ifor 510, but it is wider and much more luxurious! Better suspension, so gives a much smoother ride for the horse, lovely padding on the sides and in my opinion nicer to look at.

I have a 511. If I remember correctly the internal height is better in the 511 than the 510. I have had a 17hh horse in mine and he was fine. You might want to consider a poll guard if you aren't already using one.

I have a cheval liberte, masses of room for Bill who is 17h (and 5), I think the cheval are have the highest headroom, but don't hold me on that :)

We went with the cheval as it tows very well and is light, which is ultra important due to spiraling diesel ££
