i am hoping to buy a trailer in the next couple of months and was just wondering what type people recommend? I know the equi-treck ones are ment to be very good but they are a little over my price range and i won't realy be doing long journeys. It world have to take a 16.3 horse. Also which trailers hold their value best? Thankyou.

Ifor Williams every day of the week

i have the ifor williams black classic 510 and love ti. i had a few little extras put on but highly recommend for money

Recommend Ifor Williams.

I have a long upstanding 16.3hh WB and he fits fine in a 510 and travels really well

I have a Richardson supreme ultra, which is a bit taller then the normal richardson to take the bigger horse. We also had one before but it was stolen! They aren't that expensive and hold their value really well but it isn't that easy to come across them as say an ifor williams. We chose a richardson as our cob wouldn't go in most trailers as he found them too narrow and even escaped through the jockey door, which was a funny sight! I think he is a bit claustrophobic but he gets on really well with our trailer now.

Ifor Willaims 510's are good for a horse of your size but you have to remember they are very pinchable! I know so many people who have had Ifor WIllams trailers stolen despite wheel locks, hitch locks etc. I've an old Bahill which doesn't look very atttactive but is regularly serviced, has served me well and is less likely to get pinched!
