I am a fan of 7.5 ton horseboxes. There is nothing so fun as bearing down on other motorists in a lorry . Plus the feeling that the horse is securely 'locked up' in a box.
Alas, my family are also fans of eating so a lorry is becomming less practicable. An option is to downgrade to a 3.5t and that is still in mind.
However I recently aquired a 4.5litre Range Rover as a 'weekend' car so am thinking about a trailer. I have never towed one myself.
The Tank is a 16.1hh middleweight, he isn't a bad traveller but he can fidget and he is very powerful.
1)How stable are trailers for larger horses?
2)The least stressful way I found to travel The Tank is loose in my lorry (obviously not safe in a trailer) so would it be possible to cross-tye in the middle with no partition?
3) Is a single trailer more likely to tip over than a double?
