I'm pretty sure my horse has never travelled in a trailer. He loads and travels in a lorry with company but he does get sweaty and excited (he's an ex-racer so understandable).
He's not great at travelling alone though, he once broke a partition travelling alone but he has been on very short journeys (500 yards!) on his own.
But I can't afford a lorry
and it doesn't help that I also personally hate travelling horses (it's scary!).
So... how do you teach a horse that travelling alone in a trailer is fun? (although not so fun that he decides to leave thought the wall!)
