Is anybody else pondering how they are going to get into London?
We have tickets for Saturday afternoon & planning to travel down on the Friday. Slightly tempted to just sell tickets....
Will the underground run at all does anyone know?

I was pondering buying tickets for the Fri eve performance, as I was expecting to be on a work trip to London on Friday - well... not much point now as the work trip is cancelled because of the strike!

This is why I didn't book this year :(

I don't trust there not to be road disruptions either as we'd need to use the M25.

Hopefully next year ?

I’m going to drive and leave plenty of time for traffic. Last year the journey was ok but there wasn’t a strike on. Oddly, from the horse show website it doesn’t look like you can pre book parking which is a bit worrying if there will be lots of extra cars. Checked excel and it says the same thing. They must be confident they have plenty of spaces!

That’s a pain - I was going to look into prebooking parking.

Don't get to pay ULEZ fee!

You can park underneath excel for £20 for 24hrs. We did that last year and it was super easy....I had train tickets for this year but looks like I'll be driving again ? we are staying at a hotel next door so may as well pay for the parking as its 24hrs so not too bad. Yes you need to pay the low emissions charge too...not cheap!

I think the DLR and tube run till midnight though so you could park elsewhere near London and get the tube in too. The Elizabeth line stops at custom house which is 2 mins from the entrance.

You can't pre book at excel it's first come first served but there are about 4000 spaces so it was fine last year!
