Trainer help!

Hi! I am thinking of getting a trainer for me and my loan horse. She is a 9yo ex racer chestnut mare, anxious etc... but despite all this we seem to be getting on well. She has never been schooled properly (which is what I am doing now) and I would like to have someone I could have lessons with who is encouraging and knows about bringing on horses like these!

Could anybody recommend anyone local? I live in Suffolk (the yard is in Hadleigh) and seeing as I have never brought on a horse before I would like someone who can just guide me through - as I am capable just need a positive and helping hand!

Any recommendations would be great! Thanks so much x

Thought I would comment to bump to help (and because I recognise Hadleigh as I used to live in Sudbury, brought back memories!) No help at all as I am North Yorkshire now!

I would always recommend a course with Becky chapman at ashen ec, she is fabulous at helping you find the right way forward for both you and your horse. It may seem expensive, until you have been. I found the difference it made to my horse and i was worth every penny.
For closeness to you there is water farm at raydon.
