Has anyone seen the video?
A gundog trainer booting a cocker in the head when it doesn’t heel properly.
I saw it once but now can’t find it (I’m pretty rubbish at searching on fb). So far as I can make out he posted it himself, as it was head cam footage. Bizarre. So he must have thought it was quite an acceptable way to behave? If not actually a positive thing to do.

It’s really vicious isn’t it. And sort of premeditated which is even worse.
My grandpa used to send his labs off to be trained to a proper old school trialler. When I was a child we went to visit the man and I was so upset he never sent another one there. I thought we’d moved on from the total dominance and fear requirement for obedience.

Well, I saw this on Animal Cruelty Files and when I Googled his name, several links came up suggesting he trained The Queen's gundogs.

What a thicko to post the vid and also a possible reason that rescues don't want to rehome as workers.

I must admit I thought this was pretty standard treatment at one time.

He has never trained the Queen's gundogs. Ian Openshaw trains her spaniels.

Removed his personal and business facebook pages and instagram. Also withdrew his Cocker (FTCH Diamonfinda Dive Rite In) from the Championship which was on the last two days.
He’s learning then? Belatedly?
Did you compete at the champs?
