Trainer Recommendations - Bolton, Lancashire

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone recommend a sympathetic trainer to work with rider and ex-racehorse near Bolton in Lancashire please?

It is a new partnership and they need some general help to establish the basics.

Hi i am in Bolton and i use a lady called Dawn Howarth she owns sports Horse Continental so you can look her up if you like. She is really really good and although she comes from a Show Jumping background i compete at Dressage and my flat work is better that it ever was with a Dressage instructor.

PM for more information if you like. She is use to dealing with young warm bloods and is very sympathetic.

She just seams to know what works with each horse and treats them all totally different.

I can also recommend Dawn Howarth. She has helped me no end with my young horse. I was really struggling to find someone that was prepared to get on my horse and feel what I was feeling. Dawn was extremey helpful and has been great at building up my confidence and providing me with support when we have been going through bad times. Although as BFG mentions she does have a show jumping background I really just think of her as a great alround instructor. I would definitley give her a try.

p.s. a good plus point with Dawn is that she just charges for comming out, not by the hour so if you have having a few problems she will stay for as long as it takes.
