I have just bought a youngster age 3 and just wanted to know some opinions on what is best to do with her. She is already broken, however I haven't ridden her and feel she may have been broken a little early so want to go back to basics with her.

How much work do you think is necessary for this age? She is rather fiesty but don't want to overwork her.

Also to go with this which feeds would benefit her most? She is on a number of things at the moment and think maybe a balancer or a cool mix may be a better option.

Thanks!

Will be watching with interest as I've just bought a backed and turned away 4 yr old. Had her a few days and been working on her manners (non existent) and long lining her (think rodeo horse as not getting to career round on the lunge as she was previously). Having a bit of a "what have I done", moment tonight :o
