I am training at medium level and I feel my horse is really improving week but week with lessons and training . She used to get onto her shoulder in the half pass / mediums but this is so much better , now she has started to anticipate and put her head above the bit and charge . Two tests yesterday where there wasn’t a lot I can do to regain control . I know that this is a training issue and I am aware what needs to improve here . Has anyone had these problems ? I ride her in a NS verbindend

your instructor is best placed to help you with this.... but i have one who tends to try and hollow and run in the half pass left, the key with her is to really secure her into the outside rein before starting the HP, at medium this is probably going to come after a turn or a corner so you are well prepped to really push her from your inside leg into your outside rein and use that to encourage her to wait on your seat and stay through in the contact. basically try and use your preparation more effectively to avoid her getting away from you as you start the movement. in training you could buy yourself more preparation time by riding a 10m circle directly before the half pass.

This is a good post, you can also try coming through the corner in shoulder in or shoulder fore to make sure the inside hind is well engaged before moving off into the half pass movement

!0 meter circles and shoulder in as suggested above, or maybe try coming down the centre line, leg yield (say to the right) then switch the aids to half pass to the left. Keep it all really soft and just ask for a few half pass strides then ride out of it nice and straight.
