Hi Guys
I wonder if you could help. I have recently been given a 20 year old mare. She has been a brood mare all her life and after having her checked out by the vet last week, the vet's advice was that she would be fantastic as a light hack and that it would be good for her health. The mare at the moment is backed but she's not broken. Does anybody know of anyone that could help me to break her. I love the old girl but due to time constraints don't have the time to break her in at the moment. I am looking for someone who would be sympathetic with her generally but firm if need be.. I am based in the Cheshire area and would like her to be broken at home.
