I am a new stable owner and am planning on working with an instructor/trainer on a contract basis (i.e. no salary, we will split the instruction & training profits). I realize that there are many factors are involved (e.g. the training experience & credentials), but I am wondering what the "usual" percentage split (or range of usual splits) between contract trainer/instructor and stable owner.
