So I took out the dogs on my own for the first time since the accident yesterday: I worried about Zak being naughty but I went during a monsoon and we had the field to ourselves, unsurprisingly! 
Today, I didn't know there were three dogs behind the football club and I threw the toy almost in their path! Puss cat was amazing, he picked up the toy, looked at the dogs and came straight back to me!! I am delighted with him! I still wouldn't trust him on a shoot or anything, but he's proved that he listens and responds!
