Dear All
This is to all Dressage, Show Jumpers and Eventers alike - in an ideal world who would you base yourself with and why?
Just a little intro so please read on - So, let's say that I want to make a crazy move and give up my day job in order to take my horsey job to the next level...What I am after is a proper competition training combined with teaching training towards BHS II and I (teaching qualifications) which would lead to a possibility of becoming an accredited trainer (I am quite passionate about all three disciplines so can't really decide which one I would like to specialise in but if I had to I would go for Dressage as it gives the best foundation for anything else). I am thinking of finding a good place where I could work (teaching included), watch a respected trainer(s) teaching AND receive some competition tuition. I have been looking here and there to decide who to approach and I would love to hear about your exepriences with various trainers/competition riders and your opinions about them. I am not really into any riding school job (maybe apart from Talland and YRC).
Oh, and I don't necessairly look for anybody oh-so-famous; just a very good rider and a good teacher in the same time...
