I am looking to take my horse for a week or so's training but dont even know where to start.

I am looking for reconmendations / places you have been
or places to avoid

Please help!!!!

Many thanks for all your help

A few questions which might help get the advice you want:

Where are you based
How far are you willing to travel
What kind of training are you after eg dressage, jump, XC?
Is the training for you or your horse, or both?
How much are you prepared to spend eg per lesson, day, week.
What sort of things are you/horse doing now (level wise) and what do you want to achieve by doing the 'training'

From this info, I'm sure quite a few will be able to provide you with ideas.

i am just based outside of birmingham

willing to travel where ever

after dressage and sj and maybe some xc

Yeah for both me and horse

depends on the training etc as to how much would pay

he is just coming back into work after 2 years off and is now fit and ready to go, been doing prelim dressage and problems with the show jumping - jump at home and warm up but not in the ring!!!

The training i am trying to get is to help me along to improve both of our way of going me as a rider and him as a horse - got an instuctor that i have been having lessons with for the past 8 months but just want to have a break away and try something new

ditto the above, location and disipline most importantly then I can make some suggestions.
I am managed to get in touch with Sharon hunt yesterday to see if shed be able to give me some trainning am yet to hear back from my reply re cost, dates ect as we all know shes a very busy woman.
Some of your top ppl when theyre not competing offer trainning maybe worth contacting some ppl from your area
