I'm getting together an article on eventing in the UK vs. North America for a major publication. I have a couple of **** riders who have competed in both regions on board and I know quite a few N. Americans who have also competed here but I would like to contact, if possible, a, um, slightly less high profile rider currently based in the UK who has also competed in the US or Canada. A Junior/YR/amateur/"up and come-er" would be perfect.

If anyone on here fits the bill or can suggest someone who does, please PM me.

Thanks.

isn't there an american girl who's based with WFP now?
what about contacting that girl who used to be over here, had the huge american lorry. she was very friendly and approachable when i chatted to her once. i think she's back in the u.s. permanently now, but A.H.S.A. would have her deets. umm, her sister was the girlfriend of Zara Phillipps' brother. can't do names, sorry! help, someone!

Still trying to figure out the second reference . . . but the first one is Leahona Rowland who is actually Canadian, from my neck of the woods. I'm tracking her down already.

i'm still racking my brains here... she brought a huge american lorry over and had a big Oakley body fitted to it (they'd know her name, no-one else has ever done that before or since!), and then took it home with her when she went back. did Gatcombe Open, a couple of 3 stars, in the late 90s. umm, will keep looking.
ha! got it! Elizabeth Iorio.
had to go through Gatcombe Park results on britisheventing website. durr my memory.
anyway, she was very chatty and nice, got to be worth a try!

wait i know the person and her name is..... i cant remember but it will come to me. and there is elizabeth wats her face who bought artic knight from WFP and does motor racing also and some bloke called leslie law, didnt he win a medal or something once?
