Were looking at buying a 3.5t ford transit horse lorry.

However, I've been told that the chassis doesn't hold to well and they rock when you travel a big horse or an uneasy traveller in them.

Anyone has any experiences on them?

How big is big? Height can be an issue with many of them. I had a very elderly wooden-bodied one and although it felt dreadfully "rolly" to the driver the horses travelled well in it.

Renault Masters tend to be coachbuilt which is why they are just under 8ft high.
Transits are usually conversions and tend to be roughly 6ft 10 high which will not take horses so are better as pony boxes.
My old transit was great but nothing beats the Renault Master, its like driving a car.
