Transport France to Essex

Has anyone recently transported a horse from France to Essex UK?

Who did you use? How did the horse cope with the journey? Any additional info gratefully received!

I did it myself in September. Depending where in France it should be a pretty easy journey, especially if you go with a transporter that uses the train. Parkers are probably market leaders if you’re happy with a group load.

Obviously if it's an import there's extra taxes and paperwork etc as no longer in the EU, but I think Parker's knows what they are doing

I don’t suppose you know a rough price/guideline do you? From what I understand the import tax is a % of the horses value yeah?
