Transport from Leeds to Goole 02.11.13

Need to take baby horse to trainers on 2nd November and was wondering if anyone as availability as I can't tow and don't want to pay £110 + fuel to hire box for whole day when its only an hours drive away.
Yard is in LS26 trainer is Guy Robertson in DN14
Horse is 15'1 gelding Paint horse so not a big monster, hes good natured and I picked him up from Wallingford last year and he loaded and travelled very well. Need to load at my yard 1pm on 2nd November if there's a lovely HHOer that might want some pennies and to meet a gorgeous horsie or knows a local transport company which do short term hire with or without a driver (my brother is licences up to class 1 so can drive any box). he will be coming back 4-6 weeks later for return journey so is just a quick drop off

Thanks will give her call I don't normally leave my yard other than for hacking so never use transport services so don't know anyone

I was going to suggest her. I contacted her when I was buying Barry. In the end a friend picked him up for me, but the difference in price was about £30, which I wouldn't have minded paying tbh as I had to wait for my friend to finish work so it was a long evening!

I think she quoted me £135 for a 70-80 mile journey. Another company quoted me £250, and I gave my friend £100 for fuel, so she seems pretty competitively priced.

Alternatively Spencer and son are supposed to be alright as well although I've never used them personally.

I've used Frances twice to move my boys and she was very competetively priced, was very patient with my bad to load arab, arrived on time and drove her lovely box really considerately. She certainly gets my recommendation.
