Transport from the north to devon?

Anyone heading south at anytime soon that can fit a horse on? Horse is in Cumbria and I am in Devon. Our lorry is broken so can't get it down here that way and a transporter seems to have ridiculous quotes. Any ideas-obviously will contribute to cost!

Can't help with a lift I'm afraid, but have you had a quote from Claire Howarth in Devon, if youre not in any hurry and its a shared load she is usually very reasonable

Clive Jenkins in Devon is very good and as above has very reasonable prices for shared loads.
