Transport ideas & suggestions please

Hello,

There is a show coming up at the end of the month that I am desperate to compete at, but everyone else at our yard is being very non-commital about it, so I'm beginning to think transport is going to be an issue as unfortunately we aren't lucky enough to have our own box

So I'm just trying to work out what my options are and which is likely to be the most cost effective, as we are usually lucky enough to be able to travel with one of the other liveries. My mare is 15.3hh and the show is approximately half an hour from our yard which is based in Surrey. We would be looking to go for the whole day as our classes seem to be fairly spread out.

Also if anyone has any suggestions as to which companies to use, that would be fab

You could look on www.horsetransportsearch.com or www.findhorsetransport.com.

They usually have good companies that do transport or alternatively self drive hire vehicles. I can't recommend any in your area as unfortunately your a bit far from me!!

Have you got a vehicle that will tow? If so hire a trailer for the day.

Thanks guys! I'm pretty sure my daddy can be persuaded or bribed into towing if needs be as sadly I got my drivers licence just after the towing cut off point
