Transport needed, Wilts,...renamed :)

Don't suppose there's anyone with a spare lorry in Swindon/Calne/ish area this saturday at all is there that they'd be kind enough/willing to hire out for the day? Or anyone with space in their lorry that's going to Foxham show at all? Have no transport last minute as friends lorry broken and off being fixed for two weeks possibly.

No lorry hire companies near by enough either after googling. Only a tiny local show anyway, so have no intention of paying £100+ just to go! I'd rather hack the 6 miles there Only place is the trailer hire place in Devizes...but we've got a trailer,just nothing to tow with at the moment now!

Thought I'd give HHO a go...given phone calls to everyone else but don't know a huge amount of people here tbh, and the ones I do are already going and don't have room sadly.

don't know anyone with a lorry but if you've got a trailer then why not hire a van or 4 x 4 to tow it with?
if you phone up the hire companies then i'm sure they can help you with the best vehicle.

Thanks hadn't ever thought of that! Just quoted some local companies, and it would still be about £90-100 hire for the 4x4. Might be a good idea for more important outings till lorry sorted,but for a local show not really viable sadly Thankyou though, I didn't actually realise you could hire 4x4's haha!
