posted recently about the experience I had with transporting my baby horse to the UK. In short, the driver refused to delivery door to door (that is the arrangement that had been made) and my friend had to collect the horse from services at 4 am on the M5. considering he is only a baby, (3 and a 1/2) just broken and had only been in a lorry once before and it was a bad experience, I was fuming!

I read all the replied and appreciate you comments and advice. I started thinking, maybe the transport company didn't know that their drivers were doing this so I rang them.

I was right. They didn't know. they asked me to call back last night and the update is that they have fired the driver and offered a full refund and apology. My boy is none the worst for the experience.

Alls well that ends well. (yes i know I should have just called them before going off on one but hingsight and all that!)

Thanks for the support.

Thanks boodle, not a bother on him. He is loving all the attention he is getting and eating, well, eating like a horse!

I suppose lesson learned. I shouldn't have shouted my mouth off before giving them a chance to deal with the situation i was just so angry. I so glad i didn't name and shame. Although they are responsible, it was a dodgy driver that caused the problem and he has since been fired. Makes me wonder what else he got up to that he had already been fired before I made the complaint!
