DEFRA's new legislation for transporting horses comes into affect on 5 January 2008. The regulations require that anyone responsible for transporting horses as part of 'an economic activity' (i.e. a business), must hold a Certificate of Competence.
The British Racing School is providing the necessary qualifications and is currently offering a 20% discount for groups of 8 or more applicants.
