Im hoping to take my mare to stud in April/May and have no transport for her so thought i'd start looking around for any recommended companies. When I took her to be graded I hired a lorry, but that now costs £120 a DAY!! So, im really looking for something cheaper. Does anyone know of any lorry hire companies that are cheaper or work on an hour by hour basis? I dont really want to pay a days hire for what will be about 2 hours use but i cant find anything that does that!
Or, is there anyone local who would very kindly offer their lorry/trailer? Long shot I know but worth asking
I would of course be happy to cover any costs required
