Transport to shows - Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire

I have finally got some confidence to take my horse and try out a few local shows (Sutton Bonington, Soar Valley, Lambley etc).

However, I dont have any transport. A couple of people on my yard have said I can borrow their trailers, but I dont have a towing vehicle either! Most of the shows I could probably hack to, but it seems a bit unfair to hack him there, compete, then hack back.

Is there anybody out there that does horse transport to and from local shows in their own lorries/trailers in return for cash?

Alternatively, are there any recommended horse transporters in the area

i very much doubt you will find anyone - tried it myself and it doesnt work. You have two choices - buy a truck or hack there
 
You now have to be licensed to accept payment for transporting horses.

Can you not just tag along with one of your friends?

Before I had transport I used to hack to the show, compete and then hack back. He didn't struggle at all.
 
Lucy Rostill who moved Frankie will do it. She quoted £30 to take us to that pleasure ride by your yard and to collect us after. Let me know if you want her number or you can google her she has her own website :)
