Transport W Oxon to Sussex

Can anyone help at all?

I need to move my horse due to house move, the week after Xmas (probably 28th/29th Dec).

Dont have an exact area as yet, but Findon Valley area is looking promising!!!

Either anyone who can help, or recommend a cheapish transporter?

where are you moving to? (as in you not the horse) i am on the scout for a transporter to so will let you know if i find any reasonable ones

Thank you. My OH is viewing a house in Findon Valley.
The transporters I have looked at are about £1 / £1.10 a mile, working out about £300 for me!!!

I can hire a box for £90 + diesel, but I'm not overly confident driving on motorways.

I can highly recommend Patching Livery Yard. I was there for a few years and it was great. Right at the bottom of the South Downs. To be honest the hacking all around the area is fantastic (I miss it)!

Dont know if cheap compared to others but have used Bruce from Appletrees on a number of occasions before I got my own box. Really lovely guy and nice roomy box. www.appletreestransport.co.uk 07850 215805.

Hope you enjoy living in Sunny Sussex - and as already said the hacking is fab around the South Downs near Findon.
