Hi all,

I had such a great response from my last post about “recommend me a vet in Exeter” that I thought I would see if anyone could help me with the next step. The horse is being vetted tomorrow (I’m so praying he will pass, I wont be able to sleep tonight!:D) and if he does pass I will then need to transport him from Exeter to Essex.

Options are:

a) I could hire a self drive box - Equitrek Sonic – anyone any experience of them?
b) Get the professionals in – can anyone recommend me a licensed transport company that covers Exeter to Essex (preferably as part of a shared load).

Thanks x
:)

Thanks Nativeponies but I should have put that I have trawled the internet for transport companies, but I would really appreciate recommendations from people who have had good experiences using a certain firm - he is a green 4 year old with a fab temperament so I don’t want him to have a bad experience on such a long journey.:)

call louise oxenland...her number is on the website

CLaire Howarth is from the West Country and goes all over the UK; have used her a couple of times and would recommend her.

Not sure how many transporters still do shared loads; when I was bringing a mare down from Northants to Dorset a couple of years ago every company I contacted said they no longer did shared loads.
