I was just wondering, if you don't take your horse out often (In last 2 years Roo has been in box twice) would it be mean to take them out in one, two days in a row?
She walks straight onto the box and doesnt seem to stress, but is it hard work for a horse to travel (with trying to keep their balance)

Thanks x

I think it is quite hard work for a horse to travel in a box. But so long as the journeys are not very long a healthy horse should manage to go out two days running. Make sure you drive v carefully.

According to AA route planner :p
The first trip would be 40 mins, and then second one an hour (But got to go there and back each day so double that)

The plan was to do xc on the 18th (Thats definitely still on) but we were meant to be going for a lesson on the 25th which has been cancelled. And I can't find anything else on that date. So am going to hope I can swap days with the horsebox company for the 19th when theres a fun show on, showing, jumping and gymkhana games. Something different to try. :)
