Please forgive me if this sounds stupid but...

I have a 10.5 yr old GSD who is just starting to feel his age a little :(

I travel him in the boot of my car very regularly and he is now starting to struggle with jumping into the boot so am going to start putting him on the back seat as he finds it much easier to get in.
He is fine once we are walking, just struggles with the jump into the car.

I have a bad back and it is just not possible to lift him in myself and I mostly take him out on my own.

Does anyone have experience of the harnesses and seat belt type things for bigger dogs? Or any other suggestions? I have only seen reviews for them for smaller dogs.

I also want to get a seat cover to protect my seats a little bit!

Any ideas welcome!

Thank you!

I have a ramp for mine, as although he can jump into the car it is bad for his hips. Thing is however if I can get the ruddy thing up before he has bounded into the boot, he just loves getting in cars.

Oh, that sounds good. Can I ask where you got the ramp from?

Thanks
