Hello
Totally theoretical question - someone asked and I didn't know the answer
If you are transporting your own horse and something happens and the horse is injured then either your own insurance pays or (if not your fault) the other driver
But if it's not your horse (and you're not a transporter so doing it for free etc) then what happens? I presume if not your fault the other driver still pays - but if it was (or something happens in the trailer - like the floor gives way etc) then does the horse's insurance cover it or is the driver liable?
Just interested!
