Trapped horse cut free from cab

Nightmare. Good on all those who worked together to get the horse out. Bet he's not going to be keen to travel from now on.
 
I was expecting to see quite an old horse box so was surprised to see quite a shiny new one! It re enforces my 'need' for a living between the horses and the cab.... if I ever get a lorry that is!

Glad the horse is OK and all the emergency people looked to be really calm and professional. Here's hoping I never need them tho!
 
Ah!! That horse is my best friend's parents racehorse Blue Vinny. Bit of a nightmare day all in all - went all the way to Brighton for a race. Unshipped jockey in the starting stalls so didn't even run in the race. Got stuck in lorry on way back. One lad in hospital with concussion. Lorry wrecked. Huge traffic jams on road. Horse had to stay at Hickstead and go and be collected next day in big lorry with another horse. All in all - should have stayed at home!!
