For Rock's xmas present i want to get him a new travel kit. He already has a gorgeous waffle rug which i travel him in, in burgandy, so i want the boots in burgandy to match this but cant find any anywhere. I also want the boots to be like waffley fleecey material - i cant stand the design like Mark Todd travel boots as they dont stay on and are too hard, i want something soft and mouldable lol so anyone out there help me?

u use poly ones - they are grrreat!!!!!!!!!!! They are not stiff nor restricting but cushion the horses leg, i really like them and never had any problems with them (touch wood)! They are not waffle/fleece mataril but you coudl sew that on the inside!

Ditto Macha. The Derby house ones a great & also not to expensive but they are on a similar design to the mark todd ones.

Thermatex ones would come in burgundy, they do travel boots that are not the firm moulded plastic ones but are waffle type.

The polly products ones are very good - they are tombstone shaped pads, kind of like polly pads but without the binding, and you can get them in burgundy.

I have a set in green and they are very good, never slip and will fit quite a wide range of horses as they don't have the rigid hock and fetlock shaping of the Mark Todd type design.

Me too... never slip and he doesnt walk funny in them so they cant be too uncomfortable.... but we all like different things so good luck with your search.

Only bad thing is they are c**P to wash in a machine... have just done mine in the bath and dripped water everywhere!!

I have premier Equine and they have been brilliant. They are tough, protective and easy to get on and off. They have also not slipped despite some serious arsing around by my horse.

I can't fault them for not moving on my horse, but I guess they are all different.

Saying that I now have some Olympian ones in a lurvely shade of pink. Not quite as rigid and shaped as the MT's, and the heel parts are a suedey-stuff instead of rigid plastic - they are kind of a compromise between the 2. They seem to be quite decent.

I can now change depending on which outfit so she can colour co-ordinate! Between the neds we have a blackwatch tartan cottage craft set, green Polly products, pink Olypians, and I still have the set of navy MT's my sister got me, tempted to keep them and hope they'll fit an Asti baby as I wanted them for aaaages and was gutted when they didn't fit the orange furball...

Yeah I know, they are all so spoilt they are ruined!!!!
