Hi My daughter has a 14.1 heavy weight cob with no shoes. I bought some travel boots for him in the summer. They fit him in the length but not circumference. He gets quite hot in them tho and in hot weather he can stamp a bit to get them off.My question is does he need travel boots ( my feeling is better safe than sorry) if so can you recommend some that may fit him better? Thanks guys

Maybe you could bandage him instead? I always have and always will use bandages or boots when travelling. Climatex bandage pads are good for keeping the legs dry as they seem to wick a bit. Having said that I know a few people who never put anything on the legs, I don't personally think it's very good practice tbh.

i just travel my mare in exercise wraps and over reach boots as she wasnt a good loader so couldny risk her stepping on boots if being silly! i think these are just as good, if not better as there is not risk of her standing on one and getting tangled!
