Does anyone know of/use any travel boots that are suitable for long legs? My horse currently has some WoofWear one but they are far too short for him. He doesnt have particularly thick legs but are quite long and gangly! (I know bandages are an option but abit of a faff) Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you

With 'long gangly legs' you may struggle to get travel boots that will do up tight enough to stay in position. Both of my horses have ended up with travel boots around their feet, covered in poo & stomped flat. We then moved onto pads & bandages & although they take a bit longer to put on they actually stay in position & give good protection. Bandages may be the way you need to go ;)

Another vote for Bucas Max - they don't seem to shift/slip/slide at all during use, they come up nice and long and a great for whicking away moisture from wet legs, and not getting too hot in the summer! Love them :-)

Have tried loads of makes over the years and bought a pair of the POLY PADS ones and absolutely love them , i did bandaging for years but with a flighty TB it was a faff and time consuming, the PP boots fit brillianlty to his long legs, they absorb any sweat or moisture, they are really ergonomic, comfy looking, good even support, easy to apply and really good level of protection, I DONT SELL them i honestly have had great results.

I have Weatherbeeta travel boots and have used them on my previous horses who were a 16.3 TB and a TB/WB 16.2. They are now on my new 16.2 TB! I find they fit well, can velcro them tight enough and they are also long enough to cover top of hoof and hock/knee
