Neither

I prefer the old fashion small travel boots to the knee and knee and hock boots.

But

Never use them, seen too many panic when they slip down, and too many get wound up by the preparation to show etc. What are you trying to protect against? Horses very rarely step on themselves because they travel with feet apart to balance, if it is loading or unloading, bandages and/or over reach boots will do a better job.

Never use them after a nearly bad incident. Boots slipped whilst travelling and horses panicked badly nearly demolished my trailer .

I put their 'work boots on ... don't use travel boots at all. Occasionally if going a long way I use hock boots but not often...

my boy always travels in his normal work boots. he can be difficult to load and doesn't like having travel boots on. he travels beautifully and we have been all over the place in our normal boots. I would be more inclined to use travel bandages and pads if you feel the need

Woofwear are a slimmer fit than horseware, so the best fit will depend on how slim or chunky the legs are.
