Amy is STILL throwing up in the car every time I take them anywhere :mad:, I never feed her before we go (obviously) so it is only ever white froth but it is really annoying! Can I give her a tablet or something to stop it? (other than a high dose of ACP of course :p)

I've never had a travel sick dog before :confused:

You could try the usual newspapers under her or cardboard, ginger biscuit before you set off or some mints (polos) both are good anit sickness.
or cerenia from the vet, a motion sickness tablet.
 
Does she eat the polos or do I stuff them down her like antibiotics? :D Was OK today I had an old sheet in the back of the car so just bundled it up and binned it! She always waits until 5 mins from home too :confused:

try the newspaper and cardboard first, I have not used it, but have heard good results with it, she may prefer ginger to polos and you can get capsules.
 
I could just dangle her out of the window as I drive along? :p Will try everything and see what happens :):):)

ETA - she was so sweet today, went to see my family and went along to see my niece's pony. I tied the dogs up at the stable, then went to turn pony out in the field with my niece, so Amy slipped her collar and came belting after me "dont leave me, I need to be with youuuuuu" :D :D
 
We had exactly the same problem with one of our Yorkies, one would go 45 mins then chuck up everywhere, didn't make any difference if she had eaten/not eaten.
It wasn't the car/worry thing as this is in our motorhome and she loves going out in it, will jump in everytime the door is open so think it is more of a motion sickness thing.

We asked at the vets about Cerenia but he recommended something called Vallergan (as is much cheaper) which is usually used as an antihistamine(sp) for children.
The whole bottle (100ml) was only about £16 and she has 1ml in a tiny syringe an hour before travelling and it last all day so no need to readminister on the way home.

It has worked wonders, she hasnt been sick since and in fact we travelled her to Cornwall, toured round all week and back home (did nearly 900 miles) and she wasn't sick once, she isnt drowsy either.

Would definitely give it a try, we are very impressed.
