We're hoping to take Rosie Dozie away with us on holiday next month, (provided we can find a beach that will allow us on during the day) but she suffers from awful travel sickness. We've tried just sitting in the car with the engine running, building up to short journeys. But nothing works. She just salivates then vomits. Even a two minute car journey is stressful for her.

Regardless of wether we take her with us or not, she'll need to go in the car, as if she doesn't come with us she'll be staying with my mum or my friend.

I was hoping she'd outgrow it, but now it's just getting ridiculous as she can't enjoy coming on days out with us or to the woods. Walks are restricted to, well, where we can walk to. She's fine on buses and trains though  She's been in a 4x4 and normal car, very sick in both, and has been tried in a crate, covered crate, and sitting next to me on the back seat to no avail.

Can I buy any tablets or anything that will work? Or do I need to see the vet?

You can buy travel sickness pills for dogs from the vets I think there might be a few different types - its best to go and see them they should be able to tell you which is likely to work best :)
I hope they work!
