I'm going to look at a youngster tommorrow who hasn't got a passport. I asked the owner and she said I could travel him with the "forms"

Is that right????

My boys papers were 'lost' in transit when he came over from Ireland. It was very easy to get a new passport for him. That said no she shouldn't be selling him without a passport !!

It's getting stopped with him in the lorry that worries me. I 'm not too worried about getting a new passport. She has all the identity forms etc filled out to send off. She said she hasn't had the time to send them off and them come back before I get there

Thats her problem. Its illegal to sell a horse without a passport. It isnt illegal for you to buy one however.

You will be breaking the regs by travelling the horse to a new home without one. I would suggest the seller transports the horse to your home instead of you and that you complete the sale once the horse has arrived.

They said the same as you brainy lot!!

She shouldn't be selling one without a passport and I could get in trouble for travelling him. I've asked her to get a passport and then give me a ring when it arrives
